Fatal accident claims 4 lives

 The fuso track loaded with maize sacks lost control along Tororo road high way in Mbale town crashed and killed four people instantly.

The fuso track number plate UAQ 094W was UBE 669Q heading to Busia but its said that when it reached Mbale town near the bus park the brakes failed to work and went on hitting people along the road, first to be hit was a boda boda man and the female passage who died instantly, the dead boda boda cyclist was only identified as Wetaka Bukonde sub county he remains were carried in a paper bag as he was cruised badly.

In the same path the Toyota number UBE 669Q which was trying to give way to the fuso which had failed to brake also hit and killed the chairman of Tororo taxi stage Mr Twaibu Bukhulo aged around 65 years and another boda boda cyclist.

According to one of the co drivers who was in the Toyota told us that they had no way out but to kill the two people who were sitting on the pavement.

 

However, people blamed the bus drivers which park along the road and yet the road is too narrow for other people to use.

The chairman LC1 OF park cell Mr. Wamala Umar said that humps are needed on the road as its a very busy road, he adds on that many accidents are always happening around this area, and buses are the main cause of these accidents
