Minister Kaboyo to resolve Veterans’ gratuity

The verification process of all veterans country-wide has unmasked failures in the system.

Alice Kaboyo, the state minister for Luweero Triangle has been visting Rwenzori region.

Minister Kaboyo promised to resolve the gratuity issue being raised in her visit to Ibanda.

She highlighted the move to avert any situation that can lead to a war agitated by a number of youths that war hinders community development.

Ibanda Resident District Commissioner Mary Bashongora told the minister that veterans have been thronging her office to claim their gratuity.

Veterans have renewed their support to the ruling party National Resistance Movement – NRM.

Moses Mugisha the chairperson of Tunaweza a pressure group called for facilitation to advance patriotism courses.
