President Museveni ordered expedited compensation for those affected by the Standard Gauge Railway construction in Busoga.

JINJA, UGANDA – In a significant move to address a critical hurdle to national infrastructure development, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has issued a direct order to expedite the compensation process for persons affected by the construction of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) in the Busoga sub-region.

President Museveni calls for a unified strategy to utilise wetlands in Busoga, emphasising the need to prevent degradation and maximise economic potential.
