Kikuube
Residents from two villages, including Ngogo and Kaseeta in Kabwoya Sub-county, Kikuube District, have confronted officials from the National Forestry Authority (NFA) responsible for the Kasindi Sector in the Albertine Region. The residents are accusing the NFA of cutting down Bugoma Forest, which they rely on for their livelihoods, and failing to compensate them for the resources they have lost due to the destruction of the forest.
