Polysack Factory in Kigunga, Mukono District, is mourning the death of one of its long-serving employees, even as police investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the tragic accident.

On September 8, 2025, Rogers Deebat, 60, a machine operator at the factory, was reportedly struck by a forklift while on duty. 

A TikTok clip showed complaints about HARISS INTERNATIONAL’s factory allegedly releasing sewage into a nearby channel, witnessed by MP Luyimbazi Nalukoola.


After the circulation of a certain clip on one of the social media sites, TikTok, where some people who are staying near the Factory of HARISS INTERNATIONAL complained about the factory that it is releasing sewage to the neighbours through the channel which passes near the Factory. All this was done in the presence of the member of parliament of that area, Kawempe North Luyimbazi Nalukoola.
